Job description

We are seeking a senior, results‑oriented operational leader to join our executive team as the Operation Director / Deputy Director. This position holds ultimate responsibility for our entire Assembly and Final Test manufacturing organization, a large‑scale operation of 1000‑1500 employees.

You will be tasked with directing and optimizing our Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and New Product Introduction (NPI) functions. The ideal candidate is a strategic, data‑driven, and technically‑proficient leader with a proven track record of managing complex, high‑volume operations and driving world‑class performance.

What You Will Do
Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a large‑scale organization (1000-1500+ DL/IDL employees) across Manufacturing, Engineering (Process & Equipment), and NPI.
  • Develop and execute a clear operational strategy and direction that aligns with factory‑wide goals, ensuring flawless, systemic execution.
  • Establish a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Performance & KPI Management
  • Take full ownership of all operational KPIs, including Cost, Quality, Yield, and Productivity (DL, IDL, and equipment).
  • Implement and manage systems to track, report, and analyze performance metrics, driving immediate and long‑term corrective actions.
Technical & NPI Excellence
  • Leverage deep technical expertise in assembly processes and equipment to guide engineering teams in resolving complex challenges.
  • Oversee the NPI development process, ensuring new products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and transition to high‑volume production with a capable, stable process (high Cpk), high yield, excellent quality, and optimal cost.
Problem Solving & Data‑Driven Culture
  • Champion a data‑driven and systematic problem‑solving culture (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC) throughout the organization.
  • Utilize strong statistical and analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions.
Stakeholder & People Management
  • Act as the primary operational liaison, communicating with high visibility to global teams (Business Groups, Global Quality, Opex) and internal support groups (HR, Finance, Planning, QA, Facilities).
  • Drive robust people development, performance management, and succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial) or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in a high‑volume Assembly and Final Test semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing a large, complex workforce.
  • Deep technical knowledge of assembly equipment, processes, and manufacturing methodologies.
  • Champions a data‑driven culture and demonstrable mastery of structured and systemic problem‑solving techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership, management, and influencing skills with the independence and gravitas to drive a large department.
  • Strong, articulate communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies and data clearly to all levels, from engineers to global executives.
  • A proven ability to work effectively with all key stakeholders and support functions (Finance, HR, Planning, etc.) to achieve common goals.
Why Join Us?
  • Own a Flagship Operation: Take full leadership of a large organization and guide its strategic direction, solidifying its status as a world‑class manufacturing site.
  • A Culture of Ownership: We empower our leaders. You will have the independence to set the strategy, drive systemic change, and deliver on key business objectives.
  • Global & Systemic Impact: Play a pivotal role in a global supply chain, collaborating with international teams to deliver the high‑quality products our customers (in automotive, mobile, and industrial) depend on.
  • Rewarding Performance: We offer an attractive compensation package designed to reward strategic leadership and the achievement of key operational and financial milestones.
