A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Lead, Supply Chain in Malaysia, Selangor. The candidate will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, drive efficiency, and ensure service levels. Responsibilities include leading procurement, inventory, and logistics while optimizing costs and compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of supply chain experience, including leadership, are essential. Strong knowledge of ERP systems like SAP and excellent communication skills are required. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations: planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the documentation and compliance process for all import shipments.
- Optimize container clearance procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify risks and ensure supply continuity through contingency planning.
- Prepare reports and present insights to senior management.

The Lead, Supply Chain will oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, cost optimization, service levels, and continuous improvement while leading a high-performing team.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations: planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage and update customer distribution details per container, ensuring alignment with individual customer schedules
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the documentation and compliance process for all import shipments, ensuring timely clearance
- Optimize container clearance procedures to improve efficiency and reduce associated costs
- Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective break-bulk operations, focusing on consignment handling efficiency and overall logistics savings.
- Identify risks and ensure supply continuity through contingency planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations (supply chain/logistics) team.
- Prepare reports and present insights to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and analytics tools.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and cost savings.
