About Us
Dyson’s Senior Operations Manager directs and manages the day-to-day activities of the organisation’s operations. Implements operations procedures and initiatives. Evaluates and enhances current operational systems. Monitors performance against operational goals and develops reporting and auditing processes used to analyse operational effectiveness. Coordinates operations with other key functions within the organisation.
About The Role
The role reports to the Head of Operations and provides input into strategic decisions affecting the functional area of responsibility.
- Oversee business operations ensuring all procedures adhere to Dyson policies and standards.
- Support the development of Operational KPIs and drive their achievement with Operations Managers and the team.
- Act as the key contact for Contract Manufacturers on operational deliverables and escalation management.
- Evaluate and develop team skills.
- Motivate the team and devise strategies to improve workflow and operational targets within deadlines.
- Support the effective implementation of new first-tier contract manufacturers and second-tier subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of new products and technology transfers into manufacturing.
- Drive CSR programs.
- Lead cost, quality, and delivery improvement initiatives.
- Develop processes and solutions to improve operational project management efficiencies.
- Coordinate standard operating procedures across contract manufacturers and product categories.

About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
- Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong commitment to project deliverables and teamwork

- Six Sigma Certification
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Cost control and business acumen
- Experience with plastic injection mould tooling or related equipment
