Job summary
An educational institution in Johor, Iskandar Puteri, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure that facilities are maintained to high standards. Responsibilities include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance for various building services, diagnosing faults, and maintaining equipment inventories. Candidates should be able to work independently and are expected to prepare daily reports. Shift duties and call-outs may be required, ensuring the upkeep of a safe and functional environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance of building services and facilities.
- Ability to handle preventive and breakdown maintenance independently.
- Strong understanding of inventory management for maintenance supplies.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown technical maintenance for building services.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and plumbing systems.
- Prepare daily work reports and maintain inventory of equipment.
Skills
To ensure building facilities are maintained at high standards.
- Perform preventive and breakdown technical support maintenance for building services, mechanical, electrical, facilities equipment and other associated building maintenance work such as miscellaneous repairs of doors, windows, etc.
- Maintain assigned equipment in proper working order.
- Maintain a proper inventory of equipment, supplies, and other necessary items required to perform duties assigned.
- Prepare daily work report.
- Able to diagnose and offer repair suggestions for faults in electrical, water, plumbing and AC reticulation.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Back driver when necessary.
- Available for call out or shift duty.
- Any other duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by Superior.
