Company Background:

Let me introduce my client background to you. This company is a newly established manufacturing company located in Senai. They specialize in producing cables for high-reliability connectors. As a key player in the global supply chain, the company serves various industries including automotive, medical healthcare, marine, telecommunications, logistics, railway, and others. With a strong international presence, they operate more than 10 sales outlets worldwide.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Producing and optimising industrial processes and getting them certified.
• Designing (products change) layout of production process flow and controls, machinery and quality controls management.
• Lead to initiate DMAIC methodology analysis and summarize the report for: Is-Is Not, why-why, 4M1E, or 8D analysis, to solve issues that stem from the processes and abnormality (yield loss, defects) found in the production. Support/ lead the continues improvement program. Testing and modifying processes as needed.
• Researching and working with data to analyse effectivity and cost-efficiency of processes.
• Defining production safety guidelines and procedures in place, for the handling of hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Enforcing Environment-Safety-and Health (ESH), company, industry, and government regulations.
• Job title and salary commensurate with experience. Those with good performance to be promoted to manager.
• Those recruit as the pioneer team will need go to China HQ for few weeks of industrial training.

Qualifications & Experience for Engineer (Production or QC/QA/QS):

• Proficiency in the Chinese language will be an added advantage.
• Basic language in Malay and English.
• High School Certificate, Diploma or Degree in engineering or the related field. Those without Degree and low work experience may consider as engineering assistant or engineering executive.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experiences in new production line set-up, process engineering, or QC/QA/QS role and responsibilities. Those with developing, implementing, auditing, and managing an ISO quality management system is a plus.
• Result-oriented with the proven ability to drive people to achieve and exceed production KPI.
• Good in people's communication, production quality controls and engineering analysis skills.
