As a Sports Advisor (Sales), or Sports Advisor as we call it, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development, enabling those who want to build careers within the company to thrive.
Responsibilities:
1. To Customers
- Welcome customers professionally
- Ensure customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for returns, complaints, checkout, etc.
- Know the features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products and services
- Develop relationships with customers both in-store and online
- Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports
- Encourage customers to subscribe or register for the loyalty program
2. To Decathlon Malaysia
- Align with department goals and work with the team to achieve them
- Promote innovation and sports experiences in-store
- Increase sales using available resources and tools
- Organize store layout according to guidelines
- Ensure high-quality store presentation based on Customer Satisfaction principles
- Maintain stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system
3. For Safety of People and Goods
- Enforce safety and security standards
- Know and follow fire safety and evacuation procedures
4. Development and Skills
- Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer
