Role: Sports Advisor (Sales)

Your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, you will always deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development for career growth within the business.


Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers professionally and ensure their satisfaction through appropriate solutions (returns, complaints, checkout, etc.)
  • Know the technical features and user benefits of Decathlon products to offer suitable recommendations
  • Develop customer relationships both in-store and online
  • Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports
  • Encourage loyalty card registration to enhance customer information
  • Align with departmental ambitions and work with the team to achieve goals
  • Promote innovation and sports experiences in-store
  • Utilize resources and commercial tools to boost sales
  • Arrange store layout according to guidelines and ensure high-quality implementation
  • Maintain store layout and stock accuracy using the replenishment system
  • Enforce safety standards and fire safety procedures
  • Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer
Profile and Requirements
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma required
