As a Pharmaceutical Technology Lecturer, you will play a key rolein shaping the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals. Yourresponsibilities will encompass teaching, curriculum development, research, andfostering industry collaboration, with a focus on advancing the application oftechnology in pharmaceutical sciences. This role is ideal for individualspassionate about pharmaceutical technology, innovation, and education, andeager to contribute to the academic and professional growth of students in thisdynamic field.
The candidates shall be a member of the staff of the Department ofPharmaceutical Technology assigned by Kulliyyah of Pharmacy and the candidatesshall perform teaching, examining, and research duties and such otherobligations as are normally required of an academic staff member of the IIUM.
The candidates should also undertake moral and religious obligations in relation to his colleagues and students as part and parcel ofhis duties as a member of the academic staff of IIUM.
As a lecturer and member of the academic staff, the candidate isrequired to attend any meetings related to administrative positions they mayhold. This attendance is mandated by appointments made under the IIUM orthrough administrative directives issued by the Rector, Dean, or Head of theKulliyyah/ Centre/ Department/ Institute/ Office/ Mahallah.

6. Other Requirements
Candidates must be Malaysian citizens and of35 years old or below during the application date.
Candidatesmust possess a strong foundation and knowledge in PharmaceuticalTechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Successful candidates are required to pursuea Ph.D. in a relevant Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology/Drug Deliveryfield.
Candidates must not have any bindingemployment agreement with other organisations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonalskills.
A strong trackrecord of published research and participation in the academic community ishighly desirable.
7. Language Qualifications
All candidatesmust have obtained:Credits in BahasaMalaysia and English language (including oral examination) at Sijil PelajaranMalaysia (SPM) level OR equivalent qualification recognised by the Government(for Malaysian citizens).IELTS Band 6 /MUET Band 4.Candidate without any of thesequalifications will be required to sit for the IIUM English Language ProficiencyTest.
