Job description

Woo Lai Fat Construction & Trading Sdn.Bhd' is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction site in Setia Alam . As a full-time Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects, managing teams of skilled tradespeople and coordinating with project stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor construction progress to ensure project program/schedules are on time.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants and all related parties on all aspects of construction activities and feed back to management.
• Assist Project Manager for full spectrum project related matters including final accounts and constantly ensure project cost is kept within budget.
• Step-up and represent Project Manager when he is not available/on leave.
• Responsible for project matters. This will include but not limited to quality and productivity management, checking of sub-contractor claims, site contractual matters, safety and health issues, site personnel, site progress vs. construction schedule, timely and accurate site reports.
• Check and resolve discrepancies between structure and architecture drawings and other information required pertaining to the construction details.
• Prepare work program, schedule and plan for projects resources, manage the allocation efficiently.
• Monitor sub-contractor's performance, progress of works and claims.
• Attend site meeting with consultants and clients and organize internal meeting with subcontractor to resolve the technical and site logistic issues.
• Guide and coordinate with Site Staffs (Supervisors, QAQC, Safety) on achieving the best outcome possible for the site.

What we’re looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Building Construction, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required to this position
• Good interpersonal communication skills and subjective minded
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in managing multi-discipline tasks
