We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to join our organization. In this pivotal position, you will be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of our engagement with Malaysian government entities, ensuring smooth communication, compliance, and positive relationships with key officials and departments. You will also support broader public relations and communications efforts as needed.

Develop and implement strategies for building and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, agencies, and officials. Serve as the primary point of contact for all government-related inquiries, inspections, and formal communications.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee visits, meetings, and receptions for authority officials, ensuring professional and seamless execution.

Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and public announcements that may impact the organization, providing timely briefings and recommendations to leadership.

Prepare and submit formal documents, reports, and presentations required by authority bodies.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure organizational compliance with regulatory and governmental requirements.

Handle crisis or sensitive situations involving government stakeholders with discretion and strategic judgment.

Support broader PR and communications activities, including content development and media engagement, as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or corporate communications, with demonstrated experience engaging directly with Malaysian government entities.

Strong understanding of the Malaysian government structure, protocols, and regulatory environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
