Job Purpose

To manage and monitor patient financial accounts, ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintain healthy accounts receivable. Acts as a liaison between the hospital, patients, and insurers to enforce credit policies while ensuring a positive patient experience.

What’s your job like?

Monitor patient accounts, deposits, and outstanding balances.

Follow up on payments from self-paying patients and insurance cases.

Track and coordinate with the Insurance/GL desk on credit guarantees.

Enforce hospital credit policies and initiate action on overdue accounts.

Collaborate with the billing and finance team to resolve account discrepancies.

Prepare reports and maintain clear documentation for follow-ups and audits.

Counsel patients or families on their financial obligations in a professional manner.

Who are we looking for?

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospital billing, credit control, or patient finance.

Strong Excel and reporting skills; experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is a plus.

Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.

Added Advantage If You Have:

Experience handling insurance claims, GL monitoring, or aged receivables

Familiarity with TPA processes and hospital billing cycles
