Job summary
A finance services company based in Johor, Malaysia, seeks a Finance Manager to lead cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience in Accounts/Finance, focusing on group-level accounting. Responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of financial statements, strengthening internal controls, and providing financial insights for management. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Outstation travel may be required.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance with strong exposure to group-level accounting.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members.
- Proactive with the ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
Skills
- Lead cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure strong financial discipline.
- Monitor and control monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, ensuring timely reporting to management.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting processes.
- Provide financial insights to management for decision-making and business planning.
- Supervise and review the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead a team of accountants.
- Support outstation operations when required.
- At least 8–10 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance with strong exposure to group-level accounting.
- Attention to detail, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and motivate team members.
- This role requires outstation travel to meet clients and support business needs.
