Job summary

A leading hotel group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales team in managing proposals and contracts, ensuring effective communication with clients, and facilitating event planning. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills. Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, Marketing, and Reservations to provide excellent service and a seamless guest experience. This role does not require meeting every qualification to apply.

Sales Coordinator (Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park)

Hotel: Kuala Lumpur on the Park (KULPK), No. 5, Jalan Puncak, Lorong P. Ramlee Banda, 50250

  • Be the go-to support for the Sales team by helping with proposals, contracts, and sales reports.
  • Keep client files, contracts, and emails neat, accurate, and easy to find.
  • Help plan and schedule meetings, site inspections, and hotel tours so everything runs smoothly.

2. Be the Friendly Connector

  • Act as the link between our Sales team and clients, making sure every message is answered clearly, promptly, and professionally.
  • Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and other platforms, and pass leads to the right Sales Managers.
  • Follow up with clients on proposals, event details, and documents — because details matter.

3. Help Bring Events to Life

  • Support group bookings, meetings, and events by working closely with the Events and Reservations teams.
  • Make sure all client requirements are captured correctly and shared with the right teams.
  • Prepare group resumes and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to set events up for success.

4. Own the Systems & Data

  • Keep our CRM and sales systems updated with accurate client and booking information.
  • Update rate agreements, client profiles, and booking details in our sales and PMS systems.
  • Prepare sales reports and help track performance so the team knows what’s working.

5. Work as One Team

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Sales Managers to support cool sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Team up with Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Help put together sales decks, marketing materials, and promotional packages.
