Job summary

HQ Platinum in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a Weekend Customer Service Representative to support weekend operations, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure accurate shipment tracking, timely updates, and prompt resolution of service-related issues. This role collaborates with internal teams to ensure efficient shipment management and high-quality service.

You will enter orders in the AS400 system, track shipments with company tools, coordinate pickups, and keep stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Basic knowledge of motor carrier operations and North American geography.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently.
• Available to work the four-day weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely information to customers and internal teams to maintain high service standards.
• Enter and manage orders in the AS400 system.
• Track and trace shipments using company tools and escalate issues as needed.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with customers promptly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain up-to-date shipment information across systems.
• Ensure orders are properly closed for billing purposes.
• Update EDI shipment status messages and customer portals as applicable.
• Review and process customer updates regarding cancellations and status changes.
• Document and manage service failures within 24 hours of occurrence.
• Handle customer calls per procedures with professional telephone etiquette.
• Communicate clearly and follow up on pending shipments and requests throughout shift.
