Purpose
Under direct supervision, tests and analyzes products. Provides feedback to associates and involved departments based on the results of the analysis performed. Carries out technical functions related to the product through testing, quality control, and process instructions in the Manufacturing area. Offers improvement alternatives for processes, equipment, tools, and/or the manufacturing system.

In compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as Johnson & Johnson's corporate procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Provides solutions to manufacturing issues for current and new models.
- Conducts basic operational diagnostic tests, resolves issues, and disconnects components, subassemblies, and manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment to isolate failures, determine solutions, and perform relevant training.
- Analyzes non-conforming products on the production line, identifies root causes, and proposes corrective actions by working collaboratively with the manufacturing supervisor, engineering, and quality departments.
- Starts, adjusts, and operates basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
- Performs simple tests on processes/products, as well as compliance audits for quality and/or other regulatory requirements.
- Conducts basic tests and evaluations, experimental trials, and investigations of design proposals under operational conditions. Records procedures and results from these tests, including numerical and graphical data, for review by Operations.
- May provide recommendations and technical support for new projects, process improvements, and quality investigations.
- May assist in diagnosing and analyzing customer complaints; conducts awareness sessions for operators and identifies root causes, proposing corrections and corrective actions in collaboration with the manufacturing supervisor, engineering, quality, and failure analysis laboratory departments.
- Is responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
- Is responsible for following all company guidelines regarding health, safety, and environmental practices, as applicable.
- May support troubleshooting related to the product in question, evaluating systems, components, and electrical or test equipment.
- May assist in addressing customer complaints about the product, evaluating systems, components, and electronic or test equipment.
- Provides support to operators, team leaders, and trainers in discipline‑specific matters.
- Conducts inspections of their own work.
- Follows standardized procedures when applicable.
- Adheres to J&J and Campus Information Management Record Policies, including record retention programs, training and education, Document Retention Notices, record cleanouts, inactive records management, vital records, and vendor‑related requirements, if applicable.

- Has completed environmental and safety training appropriate to their discipline.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Technical degree, high school diploma, or incomplete college education.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, as a group leader, and/or in training related to the position (preferred).
- At least 4 years of experience with products manufactured at Biosense Webster or similar products.
- Preferably 3 years of experience as a Production Support Technician.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge to audit production processes.
- Ability to input data into spreadsheets and database applications.
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of product customer complaint investigation.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing areas or aspects.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of the company’s products.
- Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment associated with the specific discipline.
- Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation related to the specific discipline.
Location & Travel Requirements
