Job summary

Yazaki North America is seeking an IT Field Operation Engineer in San Nicolás de los Garza. The role covers incident handling, end-user support across plants/DCs, and collaboration with global IT teams.

You will train end users, assist with hardware installs, and manage IT asset inventories. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Windows/Office skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience or demonstrated skills in software/hardware installation.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to handle equipment up to 30 kg and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Attend incidents opened by service desk and close them promptly.
• Oversee field support to ensure timely end-user issue resolution.
• Coordinate with IT engineers II/III to align needs.
• Provide basic training to end users on equipment and software tools.
• Assist hardware installations (network cabling, racks, servers).
• Audit hardware/software inventory at plants and update records.
• Maintain fixed asset database for IT equipment at sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment.
• Keep work areas 5S compliant in host/storage rooms.
