Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Operation Engineer to support IT equipment at our plants and distribution centers.

The role handles incidents and requests from end users, collaborates with IT colleagues, and provides basic training on equipment and tools. Candidates should have a technical degree and at least 3 years experience, knowledge of Windows OS, hardware support, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant IT field experience or demonstrable skills.
• Knowledge of Windows OS for End Point devices.
• Experience with IT equipment installation and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Attend incidents and service requests from end users and close tickets.
• Oversee field support staff to ensure timely resolution of end-user issues.
• Coordinate with IT engineers II and III for customer and stakeholder needs.
• Provide basic training to end users on equipment and software tools.
• Assist with IT equipment installations (network cabling, jacks, racks).
• Maintain asset inventory and update fixed asset database.
• Provide preventive maintenance to IT equipment in scope.
• Maintain 5S in IT host/storage rooms and installations.
