Job Description
The Regional Head – Mexico will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and operations staff, drive customer success and technical excellence, and serve as the bridge between our customers, product engineering, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a regional team of engineers and customer success professionals to deliver high-quality technical outcomes.
- Serve as the regional face of Decklar, conducting demos, technical presentations, and onsite solution deployments with key customers.
- Ensure the successful implementation, reliability, and scalability of Decklar solutions; act as the local escalation point for technical and operational challenges.
- Work closely with global product and engineering teams to relay customer insights, drive feature improvements, and ensure alignment with roadmap goals.
- Oversee local delivery operations, project execution, and quality assurance; develop and enforce best practices for solution deployment.
- Represent Decklar in regional forums, customer meetings, and business reviews; contribute to expansion strategies across Latin America.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, or related field).
- Master's degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in technical or engineering leadership roles, preferably in IoT, SaaS, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proven experience managing a team of people.
- Strong customer-facing experience—able to present, demo, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Hands‑on problem solver with a startup mindset—comfortable wearing multiple hats and thriving in ambiguity.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently locally and internationally.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Hands‑on leadership role suited for a technically strong engineer with proven experience in startups, a passion for customer engagement, and the ability to mentor and inspire teams while managing execution in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
