The role is remote, part-time 30 hours per week, with scheduling Monday to Friday (CST). Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year as a Virtual Medical Assistant for U.S.-based practices.
• Hands-on experience with patient calls, scheduling, EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls in English and Spanish and route messages.
• Assist Spanish-speaking patients via transfers or outbound follow-ups.
• Provide empathetic, professional communication with high service standards.
• Monitor patient messages, EMR workflows, and admin tasks.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling with providers.
• Process records requests and support insurance verification workflows.
• Coordinate with supervisors and departments to manage workload.
• Collaborate with VMAs to ensure coverage and timely follow-ups.
• Help document and improve SOPs for clinic operations.
