Go Lean Health seeks a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to support a U.S.-based pulmonology practice remotely. The role focuses on patient communications, calls, appointment coordination, and basic EMR tasks.

You will manage EMR workflows, referrals, insurance verification, medical records requests, and collaborate with VMAs and on-site staff to ensure timely patient care across locations.

Qualificações

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
• Minimum 1 year supporting U.S.-based healthcare practices.
• Hands-on experience with patient calls, scheduling, EMR and workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Active HIPAA certification or willingness to obtain it before start.
• Ability to work independently in a remote healthcare team.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming patient calls in English and Spanish and route messages.
• Assist Spanish-speaking patients with outbound follow-ups and transfers.
• Maintain empathetic, high-standard patient communication.
• Monitor patient messages, EMR queues, and admin workflows.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling with referring providers.
• Process medical records requests and support insurance verifications.
• Collaborate with clinic supervisors and Billing/CCM teams.
• Manage high call volumes and timely follow-ups.
• Document and improve SOPs for clinic operations.
