Go Lean Health is seeking a Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support an Internal Medicine practice. You will handle patient calls in English and Spanish, manage appointment scheduling, and verify insurance while maintaining HIPAA-compliant workflows.

The role is remote, part-time (40 hours/week) with a starting rate of $6.50 per hour and a performance review after 6 months. You will contribute to smooth clinic operations and patient experience through precise, compassionate communication.

Formación

• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience handling phone calls in patient-facing or healthcare support roles.
• Able to coordinate appointments and follow up with patients.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Able to work independently with clear status updates.
• Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant workflows or HIPAA practices.

Responsabilidades

• Handle high volume patient calls and communications in English and Spanish.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments via phone, email, and text; maintain calendars.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before visits.
• Support referrals and prior authorizations; track approvals and follow-ups.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and proactive task updates.
