Qualifications

• Bilingual Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Healthcare experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant supporting U.S.-based practices.
• Hands-on experience with patient calls, appointment scheduling, EMR documentation, and clinical workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Active HIPAA certification or willingness to obtain one before start date.
• Ability to work independently in a remote healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Bilingual Patient Communication & Phone Support: manage English/Spanish calls, confirm appointments, route messages, and provide empathetic communication.
• Clinical Administrative Support: manage EMR workflows, coordinate referrals and scheduling, process records requests, assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Team Collaboration & Workflow Management: coordinate with supervisors and billing, handle high call volumes, and help improve SOPs.
