Job summary

Coface, a global trade credit specialist, is seeking a Debt Collections Specialist in Mexico City to support North American operations under the Shared Service Center directive.

Responsibilities include handling daily debt collection tasks, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Requires 1–2 years in law, insurance, or audit, plus fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk Management, or Business.
• 1–2 years in law, insurance, audit, or business.
• Strong client-focused with excellent communication.
• Legal knowledge in debt collection and insurance sector.
• Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of claims and debt collection tasks per service standards.
• Manage sensitive cases and provide consistent client support.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor workload.
• Escalate issues to leadership promptly.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Participate in governance and meetings as required.
• Identify process improvements and report impact.
• Complete training and compliance activities on schedule.
• Demonstrate accountability and proactive problem-solving.
• Support North America operations under the SSC directive.
