A global vital organ therapy company located in Jiutepec is seeking an Analyst in Tax to ensure compliance with local and federal tax obligations. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant with 2-4 years of experience in the tax field. Responsibilities include the preparation and filing of tax returns, managing tax provisions, and supporting internal audits. Formación

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the tax area, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax matters.
  • Knowledge of legal matters and audit procedures.

Your role at Vantive:

Be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate compliance with local and federal tax obligations, as well as corporate requirements in this area, for the assigned legal entity(ies), through the preparation, calculation, review, completion of tax returns, and their filing and submission to the corresponding authorities or corporate offices.

What you'll be doing:
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal and state tax obligations, such as:
  • Calculation and filing of monthly and annual taxes applicable to the companies (Income Tax, VAT, IETU, Withholdings).
  • Filing and follow-up of compensations, refunds, and any other procedures necessary for company operations (Digital Signature Certificate, CIEC, Certificates, etc.).
  • Filing and follow-up of destruction notices (*).
  • Preparation and submission of Informative Returns (Monthly and Annual).
  • Payment of taxes and duties (Water, Property Tax, Operating Licenses, etc.) (*).
  • Calculation of Employee Profit Sharing (*).
  • Updating data and payment of SIEM (*).
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with corporate obligations (Deferred Taxes, Tax Kit, Audit Kit, Boycott, etc.).
  • Provide support to staff and respond to internal and external auditor requirements (SAT).
  • Responsible for controlling tax provisions and reserves.
  • Ensure proper completion of the tax audit report.
  • Maintain assigned accounting accounts, ensuring they are cleared and reconciled against their corresponding subledger.
  • Comply with and enforce Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Prevent tax risks that may affect company operations.
  • Prepare, apply, and take responsibility for accounting records under your charge.
  • Provide support for corporate or local tax-related requirements.
  • Assist in projects related to changes in tax obligations as assigned.

What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Certified Public Accountant.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax matters.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the tax area, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Knowledge of accounting, legal matters, and audit procedures.
  • Advanced database management skills (macros, pivot tables, and filters).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and/or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of NIF and US GAAP standards.
