Senior Platform Engineer - Large-Scale Payments & APIs
Job summary
A leading payment solutions company in Milan is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and develop systems for managing high transaction volumes. You will lead technical initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable financial products. The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience with Java or PHP, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This role does not offer relocation support for candidates outside of Europe.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in developing large-scale applications.
- Proven experience in leading architectural decisions and technical initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer systems that can scale to handle high volumes of transactions.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and systems.
- Lead technical initiatives from architecture design to implementation.
