The Consultant will support the firm in monitoring the legislative, regulatory and policy activity in the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, as well as in the most relevant regions in Italy. The Consultant will develop analysis reports, memos and position papers aimed at the Clients of the firm. The Consultant will work together with the Partner and the Director heading the relevant practice within the firm.

• Monitor legislative, regulatory and policy activity at Italian government bodies, regulatory authorities and relevant regional authorities.
• Develop analysis reports, memos and position papers for Clients of the firm.
• Collaborate with the Partner and the Director heading the relevant practice within the firm.

• Min. 2/3 years of experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations;
• Strong academic record. Law, Economics or Political Science degrees required;
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
• Fluent English (strictly required, min. level C1) as well as fluent Italian;
• Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level;
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, and the ability to work as a professional. It also requires the ability to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
