SYR are seeking a prominent & skilled Project Manager to support & lead on some exciting projects in Italy, at a diverse & autonomous shipyard!

As a Yacht Project Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and managing complex projects in the naval sector, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements, while optimizing available resources. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient management in compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all project phases, from initiation to final delivery.
  • Plan and monitor schedules, costs, and resources, ensuring compliance with the assigned budget.
  • Manage and supervise technical activities, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Ensure all activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
  • Identify and promptly resolve issues or unforeseen events that could impact project progress.
  • Prepare technical reports and project documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with company standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Naval or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the naval or industrial sector.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and quality standards.
