A high fashion brand is seeking a Freelance Fabric Manager/Sourcer to support their creative team in selecting and sourcing fabrics that align with seasonal collections. Candidates should have no less than 4 years of experience in fabric sourcing for leading fashion brands and a strong understanding of the brand's aesthetic. This role involves collaboration with the design team and fabric suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a rapidly growing high fashion environment.

Competenze

• Ability to work under time pressure.

Mansioni

• Work closely with Creative Director and design studio on seasonal mood.
• Source fabrics matching creative vision and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with fabric suppliers for samples and prices.

Womenswear RTW Freelance Fabric Manager / Fabric Sourcer

Magda Butrym is looking for a Freelance Fabric Manager/Sourcer to support our creative team in sourcing and selecting fabrics that align with our seasonal mood-boards and collection needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Creative Director and design studio to understand the seasonal mood and material direction.
• Sourcing fabrics that match our creative vision, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Coordinating with fabric suppliers to request samples, prices, and lead times.
• Building and maintaining a small, curated fabric library for each season.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of fabric samples for the design and product development teams.
• Briefing production team on seasonal fabrics and supporting the department in communication with suppliers.

Profile

• Strong knowledge of textiles and fabric sourcing
• Organized, proactive, and good at communication
• Able to work independently as a freelancer
• No less than 4 years of experience working for leading fashion brands
• Understanding of Magda Butrym brand aesthetic
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Working proficiency in English
