A leading insurance company in Milan seeks an Underwriter for its Construction sector. You will be responsible for delivering profitable underwriting services, developing relationships with brokers and clients, and supporting the financial exposure of significant risks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Corporate Construction Insurance market and a strong capability to negotiate and drive business growth. Fluent English and Italian are required to succeed in this dynamic role.

You will join the Italian Property, Energy and Construction Underwriting team interacting with professionals Underwriters and technical experts to grow your potential in AXA XL, gaining insights and professionalism in a vibrant organization that cares about its people and makes inclusion and wellbeing a priority.
Your mission will be to deliver a profitable Underwriting service to clients and contribute to the development of a profitable portfolio in line with the agreed Business Plan. By representing AXA XL Italy on the market you will develop high quality levels of relationships with brokers, clients and colleagues (Claims, Operations and transversal functions).
This is a regulated role under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity regime.
