Descrizione dell’offerta di lavoro Territory Manager Consumables and IOL - Lazio. As the Territory Manager for Consumables and IOL products in Lazio, you will drive sales growth by uncovering potential, initiating and closing opportunities while understanding customer needs to maximize account revenues.
Responsibilities
- Act as the sole point of contact for customers regarding Consumables and IOL products and services, playing a crucial role in increasing BVI’s footprint.
- Collaborate in training customers to increase product knowledge.
- Identify ophthalmic solutions and business opportunities, create an account and KOLs strategy, coordinate and control the complete sales cycle from lead generation to after‑sale support, ensuring a great customer experience, selecting solutions that best suit customer needs and expectations in synergy with cross‑functional teams (Cap.Eq. & VR team, Marketing, etc.) and negotiating contracts in compliance with company policies and current regulations.
- Organize and provide demonstrations to new and existing customers; help to organize and attend conferences, workshops and training events.
- Achieve standards, expectations and performance as agreed with the manager, and proactively request support, guidance and resources when needed.
- Take ownership of local customer complaints and questions, ensuring they are handled promptly and professionally; keep up to date with local competitor activities and communicate to the manager and colleagues as appropriate; feed this information back via reporting systems and ensure feedback is acted upon.
- Attend national and international sales meetings as required, develop and maintain a reliable network of key opinion leaders and product champions; maintain strong product knowledge to be competent in professional dialogue with specified customer groups.
- Respect the Code of Conduct (Ethic Code) of the Company and comply with MDR 2017/745 (claims related to products).
- Report promptly any information related to potential safety issues of the products commercialised by the company.
Qualifications
- Preferably educated to degree level – scientific education or commercial background with extensive sales and technical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the Sales Department of companies operating in the Healthcare field (preferably in Ophthalmology including capital equipment management).
- Operating Theatre experience with Surgeons and Theatre Sisters.
- Knowledge of business/healthcare/hospital flows, strong experience in managing tenders and commercial negotiations with both public and private clients.
- Experience managing different sales channels.
- Experience in value‑added selling on products and solutions.
- Team‑work oriented, problem‑solving approach, entrepreneurial and well‑organised, positive mindset, proactive, result‑orientation.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite, CRM and quotation tools management.
- Italian mother‑language and good knowledge of commercial and technical English.
- Full driving licence and flexible travel approach and working hours.
