A leading engineering firm in Italy is looking for a Sales Manager to oversee customer ownership sales activities in the Oil & Gas market. Responsibilities include managing sales forecasts, providing technical advice, and expanding customer networks. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering, sales experience, and a proven track record in the industry. This is a full-time position with remote work options available.
This is a key role to provide customer ownership sales activity, build relations and work directly with End-Users and distributors to increase profitability and growth. End-to-end sales delivery across product portfolio; provide technical advice to customers; manage individual territories and sales forecasting across accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for executing the sales delivery in the designated end market sector to meet sales forecasts and KPIs.
In this role you will be responsible for sales strategy and delivery forecasting, channel management specifically Oil & Gas market sector, value proposition input, acting as the regional voice of the customer, budget management and perform project oversight; deliver operational excellence across different channels and in collaboration with other internal teams; use business development approaches to expand the customer base and potential revenue streams by identifying and setting up new customers.
The role would suite responsibilities of delivery sales against agreed upon targets, providing technical advice to customers, growing current sales accounts, feed business intelligence into line managers and working with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
