This hybrid role combines strategic finance and financial controlling with opportunities to work closely with top management. Job overview

We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis to join our growing team and support the company’s financial backbone. This hybrid role combines strategic finance and financial controlling, offering broad exposure and the opportunity to make a direct impact on a fast‑growing tech company. You’ll work closely with the CFO and the Finance Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure financial excellence, compliance, and insight‑driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance

• Assist in fundraising activities (equity, debt, grants), including preparation of investor materials
• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning, valuations, and forecasting
• Support M&A analysis, due diligence, and strategic projects
• Produce board decks, investor updates, and strategic reporting packages
• Conduct market and competitor research to guide financial decisions
• Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate key business levers

Controlling

• Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles across departments
• Track and report on cost centers, project profitability, and key financial KPIs
• Develop financial dashboards and reporting tools for internal stakeholders
• Propose and implement improvements in cost control and financial efficiency
• Collaborate with business units to understand financial performance drivers

Qualifications

• 6‑8 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, audit or controlling (Big 4, startups, tech, VC/PE a plus)
• Strong experience in budget planning, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) (incl. variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking)
• Proficient in Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint; experience with ERP (Oracle) or accounting systems preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured mindset
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of Italian is highly preferred
• Team player with high integrity, initiative, and the ability to work independently
