We are a rapidly scaling Independent Power Producer (IPP) delivering clean energy projects across Southern Europe, backed by a leading global infrastructure investor. We are entering our next phase of strategic growth.

As part of a professionalised leadership team, including a newly appointed CEO, we are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support commercial decisions across development, construction, and operations.

The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and the investment team to provide in-depth financial modelling, valuation analysis, and reporting across a growing portfolio of renewable assets. This is a high-impact, hands-on role offering visibility to the board and fund.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust financial models for pipeline, under-construction, and operational assets

Support project valuations, budgeting, and performance tracking

Liaise with construction, asset management, and technical teams to incorporate real-time inputs into forecasting

Assist in portfolio-level analysis for internal and investor reporting

Support M&A, refinancing, and capital allocation workstreams

Engage in scenario analysis and sensitivities for business planning

Prepare investment committee materials and board-level packs

Support implementation of financial systems and data tracking processes

Candidate Profile

6–9 years of experience in project finance, FP&A, corporate development, or investment analysis

Background in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors

Strong financial modelling skills (Excel, VBA / Power BI a plus)

Fluent in English (Italian is an advantage but not essential)

Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders

Experience with IPPs, developers, or funds viewed favourably

A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
