A global engineering and R&D leader in Italy is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to oversee key business area projects in digital transformation and engineering services. The successful candidate will manage the project lifecycle, coordinate teams and stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery aligned with quality standards. With at least 3-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of project management methodologies, this role offers a permanent contract and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Transformation Project Manager

The Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross‑functional transformation projects across Akkodis’ key business areas, including initiatives in digital transformation, technological innovation, and engineering services. The role ensures that all project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Akkodis’ quality standards and client expectations.

This position will be under Operation Direction. We’re looking for someone who will be responsible of the transformation of the company, leading those projects, in collaboration with the rest of the team abroad Italy&Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure;
  • Coordinate activities among internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders;
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (project plans, reports, KPIs, risk logs);
  • Gather and analyze requirements; define project roadmaps and milestones;
  • Track deliverables and proactively address issues or risks;
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and innovation‑related projects;
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across multidisciplinary teams;
  • Oversee project budget, timelines, and resource allocation, implementing corrective actions when needed.
Profile

We’re looking for aProject Managerwith at least 3 years of experience.

Good listener and communicator, convincing and pro‑active, autonomous personality who can manage his/her own priorities, team player keeping a focus on the company’s interests, good with initiative and motivation to reach planned & ambitious goals.

Deep knowledge of English language is mandatory (c1 level).

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Computer, Management Engineering, or similar fields;
  • 3–4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in related roles, ideally within consulting or system integration environments;
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum);
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem‑solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities;
  • Comfortable working with cross‑functional and multidisciplinary teams;
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, IT processes, or emerging technologies;
  • Good level of English (spoken and written), C1;
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
