Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? By joining us in Seregno or Bologna (Italy) as Sales Team Leader Natural Gas, you will become part of the Final Control / Pressure Management team.

Reporting directly to the BU Sales Director, the chosen candidate will lead the Italian Natural Gas Sales Team. In this role, you will guide a team of Outside Sales Engineers, driving growth with existing customers, expanding into new accounts, and implementing central initiatives to strengthen customer relationships. As the Natural Gas Sales Leader, you will provide leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to ensure the team achieves outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading & Motivating: Lead the Outside Sales Engineers team, set clear priorities, and keep them motivated through situational leadership.
  • Deploying Strategy: Deploy short, medium, and long-term business objectives aligned with overall company goals.
  • Driving Sales & Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the Sales Director to define strategies that drive revenue and achieve business targets.
  • Focusing on Customers & Relationships: Understand business drivers, anticipate customer needs, and strengthen relationships through effective selling skills.
  • Developing Team & Skills: Promote learning initiatives to enhance the team’s commercial skills, selling capabilities, and industry awareness.
  • Accomplishing Orders & Profitability Plans: Develop and implement strategies to grow orders and profitability within assigned customers.
  • Ensuring Compliance & Using Business Tools: Maintain adherence to pricing policies, technical proposals, quotations, CRM usage, PowerBI reporting, and organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally & Reporting: Work with other departments to deliver accurate orders and maintain project funnels, sales forecasts, and financial reports.

Requirements:
  • Technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Proven team leadership or sales / business development experience in a commercial role
  • Technical understanding (ideally instrumentation and process control)
  • CRM & MS Office tools
  • Proficiency in English and Italian language
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
  • Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with natural gas
  • Experience in preparing financial reports
  • Matrix organization experience
  • Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
