Make a difference as Sales Representative & Product Developer

As a Sales Representative & Product Developer, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, optimizing sales, and supporting the introduction of new seed varieties.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Play a key role in expanding sales and introducing innovative vegetable varieties to the market.
  • Work closely with customers, providing technical support and product expertise.
  • Be part of a dynamic, international team dedicated to sustainable and high‑quality agriculture.
  • Managing sales for an assigned group of customers within the subsidiary, developing the market and expanding sales opportunities.
  • Creating and executing customer plans to ensure successful implementation of sales strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and potential customers to drive brand awareness and secure profitable partnerships.
  • Staying up to date on Enza Zaden’s product portfolio and providing reliable technical advice to customers to ensure the successful cultivation and adoption of new varieties.
  • Identifying promising experimental varieties from local screening and collaborating with the breeding teams to support variety selection.
  • Supporting the introduction of new Enza Zaden varieties with technical guidance, clear market positioning and trial planning, ensuring the optimal supply of trial material.
  • Collecting market and customer data, sharing insights with the market intelligence team, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

You will closely collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management, Breeding, Marketing and Customer Service, to ensure effective market execution. Externally, you will engage with growers, plant raisers, dealers and purchasing managers to promote and develop Enza Zaden’s products.

What You Bring As a Future Colleague

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A higher professional education (HBO/Bachelor’s degree) in Agriculture, Business or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales, product development or agronomy.
  • Strong relationship‑management skills and a passion for developing customer partnerships.
  • Knowledge of seed production, cultivation techniques and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Fluency in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel as required to engage with customers and conduct field trials.
