Competenze

Overview

Ecowater Systems Italia S.R.L., part of Marmon Holdings (backed by Berkshire Hathaway), is a world leader in water treatment devices. EcoWater Systems markets water softeners and drinking water filtration systems for private individuals and the tertiary sector. EcoWater is a member of Marmon Water, a Berkshire Hathaway company. We invite you to join the EcoWater Systems Italian team as a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to promote and sell our water softeners and filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent sales skills to drive growth.

Your missions include providing initial technical support, training to CATs and salespeople of our customers, and the fundamental implementation of territorial sales activities, including sell-in and sell-out on the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full business performance of the assigned territory (revenue, mix, margin quality, pipeline health and customer development) with accountability for sustainable growth.
  • Develop new business through consultative selling: understand customer business models, influence specifications, build long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty; provide initial technical expertise and support.
  • Activate the local ecosystem (plumbers, installers, wholesale agencies, dealers) through structured trainings, demonstrations, joint field actions and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement long-term plans with assigned customers addressing growth and value quality.
  • Meet with assigned customers regularly and serve as the direct reference of EcoWater Systems for image, technical sales support and customer needs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the market.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required by management.
  • Report any new potential business streams such as customers, products or services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the water treatment or HVAC-related industry. Experience in consumer electronics is appreciated.
  • Strong technical approach with the ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth with a focus on Sell Out.
  • Energetic personality, self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving and proactivity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good command of English (participation in European meetings and video calls is required); interviews will be in English.
Location and commitments

Permanent full-time role, home based (North of Italy, preferably Lombardia). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (approximately 90% of the time) within the assigned territory, all regions of Northern Italy (from Emilia onwards).
