A popular retail company in Tuscany is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support. This role involves maximizing sales and building relationships with clients, alongside operational responsibilities such as managing inventory and cash registers. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience, is fluent in English, and possesses excellent communication skills. This full-time position offers a temporary contract in a dynamic retail environment.

Competenze

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Retail or service industry experience preferred.

SALES ASSISTANT

Salary : Negotiable

Reports to : Store Manager

Type of Contract : Temporary, Full-Time

Main duties :

To provide consistent and exceptional standard of customer service in the store.

The Role :
  • To maximize sales for the store;
  • To develop enduring relationships with clients;
  • To provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request;
  • To approach customers and offer them advice and support on product to persuade them to buy;
  • To manage promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices;
  • To understand and be able to advise customers on smart professional dress and appearance;
  • To resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history;
  • To handle returns of merchandise;
  • To maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store at the highest standard;
  • To support the team on the general operations of the “The Bridge” store;
  • To arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity and other criteria;
  • To operate cash registers and close daily revenues;
  • To maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates;
  • To go the “extra mile” to meet targets.
The Candidate :
  • at least, 3 years of working experience in the role
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken) is strongly desired;
  • Retail or service industry experience;
  • Great customer service and people skills;
  • Ability to communicate and inspire customers & store colleagues;
