Manitowoc, an international leader in providing premium lifting solutions with Potain and Grove brands, is looking for a Sales Administrator based in our offices in Lainate (MI). The role involves assisting the sales Director and Sales Area Manager for the mobile product line in processing and administrative follow-up of mobile crane orders.

Main Responsibilities in the Role

  1. Reviewing new orders: coordinating shipping procurement and logistics, managing IPC and analyzing costs, overseeing SOC management if applicable.
  2. Processing new orders: data entry, inputting correct specifications and customer data into systems (SAP, Baan), liaising with factories and other head office departments.
  3. Order follow-up and execution: communicating with Operations & Planning regarding delivery schedules, coordinating with Finance on payment methods, providing feedback and information to customers/dealers, invoicing, and maintaining data in COB. Managing road homologation and registration.
  4. Communication: maintaining close contact with sales managers and directors to escalate issues and provide information about deliveries, financing, and contractual compliance.
  5. General assistance: consolidating and recording sales forecast data provided by sales managers and validated by sales directors; coordinating with service teams.
