Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Rome to help grow our partner restaurant network across Italy. You’ll join a regional sales team, report to the Sales Lead, and build relationships with premium restaurants and stores.

In this role you will map prospects, pitch Deliveroo, close new partnerships, support partners in joining Deliveroo, and negotiate terms. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with strong sales experience.

Qualifications

• You must be comfortable with targeting new business.
• You will interact with partners/customers face-to-face, by phone or email.
• You should be able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
• You will need to be comfortable with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus.
• Fluency in Italian and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
• Communicate with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
• Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.
