Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager to build relationships with premium restaurants in Italy, focusing on Bologna, Parma and Modena. You will map, pitch and close new partners and support their onboarding to Deliveroo.

As a founding regional member, you report to the Sales Lead and work with the regional team to expand the footprint, negotiate terms, and drive growth in a fast-moving marketplace.

Qualifications

• Target new business with proven sales experience.
• Comfortable engaging partners face-to-face, by phone or email.
• Able to demonstrate product knowledge to clients.
• Comfortable with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus.
• Tenacious and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants in your region.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo and optimize their experience.
• Communicate with restaurants via visits, email, calls, or social media.
• Help restaurant owners overcome barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.
