Your Mission:

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Retail Maintenance & Facility Specialist to join our Retail Construction & Facility team based in Milan! Reporting to the Maintenance & Facility Manager, you will support and coordinate maintenance and facility activities across a selected portfolio of stores within EMEA, with potential expansion as the business grows. This role offers the opportunity to operate under supervision while gaining increasing autonomy, contributing to the efficiency and smooth operations of our fast-growing Retail network in Italy and Europe (UK, France & Germany). This is an exciting challenge for a young talent eager to build a career in the Retail sector, with a passion for service, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance activities for assigned stores, acting as point of contact for external suppliers.
  • Assist in monitoring store maintenance KPIs and budget, consolidating reports and tracking expenditures.
  • Review, challenge, and approve service quotations, managing purchase orders and payments through the ERP system.
  • Coordinate machinery transfers, equipment replacement, and installation of monitoring devices (e.g., temperature sensors).
  • Organize and conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and necessary interventions are identified.
  • Process service callout reports, monitor the maintenance request system, and ensure effective and timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide administrative support and data entry for facility management activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on extraordinary maintenance works, preventing breakdowns and minimizing impact on store operations.
  • Support emergency interventions related to critical equipment and building issues, including out-of-hours requests if required.
  • Consolidate supplier performance information and reporting, ensuring alignment with budgetary controls.
  • Collaborate closely with retail teams to monitor the performance and condition of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Facility Management.
  • Proactive, innovative, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and quality execution.
  • Project management skills and knowledge of CMMS or similar systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), good knowledge of AutoCAD, and strong interest in digital tools.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with technical partners and retail staff.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
