Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations in a luxury hotel or upscale dining environment. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. You will uphold the high standards of our brand, driving team performance, maximizing customer satisfaction, and contributing to revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all daily restaurant activities to ensure smooth and efficient service, maintaining high standards that consistently meet or exceed guest expectations, and ensuring the implementation and upkeep of standard operating procedures for all restaurant functions.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff, thereby fostering a positive, productive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and an exceptional dining experience, promptly and professionally handling guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints to guarantee their complete satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue through effective sales strategies, optimized inventory management, and profit enhancement, overseeing all financial aspects of the restaurant.
  • Ensure Quality, Hygiene & Compliance, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in accordance with company policies, local regulations, and health codes, and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Work with the culinary team to create and update menus, considering local tastes and trends, effective coordination with the kitchen, bar, and other hotel departments (Sales, Marketing, Events)
  • Prepare regular reports on restaurant performance, including sales, labor costs, guest feedback, and operational KPIs, and you will stay informed about industry trends to implement innovative ideas aimed at improving restaurant performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to promote the restaurant, organize special events, and implement promotions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale dining environments.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5 or equivalent standards.
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and Italian required.
