Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. seeks a Business Development Manager to create and grow an account base, developing and executing a field sales plan to achieve corporate revenue goals. The role emphasizes client engagement, strategic planning and CRM data upkeep.

This is a field-based remote role located in central Italy (from Bologna to Rome). You will drive new business across core services, negotiate with clients and support ongoing customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Completed forwarding specialist training
• 5+ years B2B sales in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain
• Fluent Italian and strong English

Responsibilities

• Develops new business across core competencies
• Identify and engage with clients for sustained revenue across services
• Develop and execute a business plan to meet sales quotas and budgets
• Support existing customers and foster professional cooperation
• Conduct sales and negotiation meetings
• Prepare offers and calculations
• Process customer correspondence
• Prepare and assemble offers, concepts, presentations
• Plan, organize and execute customer visits
• Maintain CRM data across departments
• Run regular review meetings
