Overview

In this role, you will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation. The work model for the role is: Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing test plans to ensure product compliance with standards, market requirements, and functional performance within complex ecosystems.
• Conducting product testing and analysis, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with R&D and Quality engineers to resolve quality issues and optimize performance.
• Improving testing setups, developing new procedures, enhancing equipment and methods, and supporting certification processes with external inspectors and regulatory bodies.
• Managing product approval and customer support, facilitating certification with Italian and international authorities and assisting in market-related debugging and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• You enjoy working with science and technology supported by a strong technical background.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator etc.).
• You are captivated by strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and you have established skills at working independently and in a team setting.
• Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, engineering or equivalent.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
