A multinational company based in Casella is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the quality control system and team, ensuring compliance with standards and optimizing production processes. The ideal candidate has a technical degree, strong knowledge of QA systems including ISO 9001, and at least 5 years in team management. Fluency in English and excellent customer relations skills are required. This role offers the opportunity to lead significant quality initiatives within the organization.

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Manager, who will be based in Aliaxis Casella (GE) and will report to the Plant Director.

This figure will be in charge of managing the quality control system and team of the site, ensuring that products are manufactured in compliance with national and international standards, current rules and customer specifications, and supporting the company in terms of cost efficiency and cost avoidance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
• Support and coordinate the development of the P-FMEA.
• Develop and analyze statistical data, KPIs, and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectations of finished products, cooperating with stakeholders involved in identifying and validating the methods and techniques for process and product control.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate them with production procedures in cooperation with the Plant Director to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Manage all internal and external audits, responsible for administrative procedures requested by the quality system to obtain and periodically check and maintain Quality certifications, including procedures and compliance with ISO 9001, and manage relationships with Certification Authorities.
• Manage all Quality System documents (manuals, procedures and technical reports), organizing their review and recurring update.
• Carry out system monitoring through internal supervision audits on processes and functional areas, ensuring compliance with procedures, inspection and testing activities to maintain control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Review and investigate customer requests and claims, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers; possibly visiting them too.
• Design and build the quality control framework for raw material in-house production and lead the validation of new ones.

Required Qualifications And Competencies

• Technical Degree is required, with a preference for an Engineering background.
• Experience in a similar business and in a structured multinational company is preferable.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the quality control function is needed, and at least 5 years of proven experience in team management is necessary.
• Professional training in QA systems, with strong knowledge of ISO 9001, is required.
• Knowledge of quality-related KPIs and statistics and product standards is strongly recommended.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
• Strong customer relations skills with a technical background are needed.
• Black Belt certification is considered a plus.
