An international humanitarian organization is seeking a passionate Protection/GBV Specialist to lead the response efforts for newly arrived individuals in Lampedusa. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with partners, and ensuring that survivors receive timely and survivor-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Sciences, over three years of experience in GBV and protection work, and be fluent in Italian and English. We’re looking for a passionate Protection/GBV Specialist to lead protection and gender-based violence (GBV) response for newly arrived individuals in Lampedusa. You’ll manage a small team, coordinate with partners, and ensure survivors receive timely, survivor-centered care.

This role is based in Lampedusa, with regular travel across Southern Italy to support disembarkation procedures and reception facilities. Expect a dynamic, fast‑paced setting where flexibility and collaboration are key.
