A global engineering firm in Cavenago di Brianza is seeking a Procurement & Planning Specialist. The role involves ensuring materials availability, defining production schedules, managing execution plans, and collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, and experience in the mechanical industry. Knowledge of SAP and fluency in Italian and English are preferred.

Position summary

We’re looking for a Procurement & Planning Specialist in Cavenago (MB)

Main opportunities and challenges

Main responsibilities

• To Ensure Materials planning and availability control according to the production schedule – KPIs : On Time Production
• To define production scheduling of assigned Plants to ensure availability of finished goods to meet Customers demand with available production capacity (Lines Fill & On-Time) – KPIs : On Time Delivery (Customer)
• To Monitor and manage the execution of the daily production plan in the manufacturing area
• To Collaborate with the Customer Service for order prioritization and production management
• To Collaborate with Quality Control, Warehouse and Production for assuring a Ready To Execute plan

Job position requirements

Education: University bachelor degree – Industrial Engineering Degree

Professional background

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced excel), Experience with MRP / ERP systems; Solving skills and a logical way of thinking are essential, Capacity planning experience; Change Management / Target oriented.

Hard skills

Essential: Previous experience in the mechanical industry and specifically in the Manufacturing area. Lean production knowledge.

Preferred: SAP expertise knowledge
