A leading technology firm in Pavia, Italy is seeking a Principal Analog Design Engineer to be part of their Optical PHY team. This position requires a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in analog IC design, including lab characterization and volume production. The ideal candidate holds a Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and has a solid understanding of multi-GHz designs. This full-time position is on-site in Pavia and offers an attractive salary package.

Competenze

• 12-15 years of professional experience in analog IC design.
• Experience in designing ICs from architecture definition through lab characterization and volume production.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Italian and English (minimum B2 level).

Mansioni

• Design and analyze block specifications; own transistor-level design.
• Model and validate circuit blocks; supervise layout activities.
• Work with engineering teams and mentor junior designers.
• Manage pre-silicon and post-silicon tasks through to high-volume production.
