About the role

As a Power App Developer, you’ll design, build, and deploy scalable business applications using Microsoft Power Platform — including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to map processes, automate workflows, and deliver data‑driven solutions that drive collaboration, productivity, and efficiency.

This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with a strong mix of technical expertise and problem‑solving creativity. You’ll take ownership of delivering innovative solutions that align with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform best practices, helping the organisation unlock the full potential of its data and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate directly with business teams to support and deliver multiple Power Platform projects and solutions.
  • Apply strong problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct process mining to scope and deliver Power Platform solutions based on user stories and business needs.
  • Design and develop Power Apps integrated with Power Automate and Power BI for process automation and analytics.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, and functional support across Microsoft 365 technologies, keeping current with updates and new features.
  • Design end‑to‑end solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing within the organisation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Virtual Agents).
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying at least five business‑grade Power Apps solutions.
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, business process optimisation, and data connectivity across Microsoft environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to work effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate user stories into reliable, scalable Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience in process improvement, process mining, and documentation.
  • Experience applying AI, Machine Learning, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) within Power Platform projects.
Nice to have
  • Microsoft PL‑200 Power Platform Functional Consultant certification (PL‑900 or PL‑400 also acceptable).
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD automation.
  • Familiarity with process improvement, process mining, documentation, and developing process‑support tools.

At Smart Working, you’ll never be just another remote hire.

Be a Smart Worker — valued, empowered, and part of a culture that celebrates integrity, excellence, and ambition.

If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear your story.
